- The IBW, Intense Backyard Wrestling, is a backyard wrestling promotion operated out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa which has roots dating back to late 1999, early 2000. We are technical federation and are by no means "hardcore."
Think about it, how many backyard wrestling federations have you seen claiming to be hardcore? There are almost too many to count. We here in the IBW take pride in displaying our technical wrestling abilities and we don't feel the need to bash each other over the head with light bulbs or light tables on fire and powerbomb somebody through them. Not to take anything away from hardcore backyard wrestling federations. They are damn good at what they do and very entertaining. However, that is just not what we are about.
